On behalf of the Language Centre of the University of Latvia it is a great honour and privilege for us to invite you to attend and participate in the International Scientific Conference “Language environment in university: accessibility, quality, sustainability”. The conference will take place on 9 – 10 May, 2014 in Riga. The aim of the conference is to raise the visibility of languages in the modern intercultural and globalized conditions in higher education. All over the world university language centres provide for the exchange and implementation of language learning ideas and the conference is the contribution of the Language Centre of the University of Latvia to the exchange in the year of its 20th anniversary.
