ALTE 6th International Conference, Bologna, Italy, 3-5 May 2017
Call for Abstracts open until 15 October 2016
“Learning and Assessment: Making the Connections”
ALTE, the Association of Language Testers in Europe, is now welcoming abstracts for the ALTE 6th International Conference. The event will take place in the beautiful Italian city of Bologna in May 2017, and once again it will be one of the largest multilingual events for the global assessment community. The theme of the conference promotes making connections between language learning, teaching and assessment, and encourages contributions from all those involved in language education at large, both across Europe and around the world.
Under the conference theme, participants will be invited to reflect on the connections between language learning, teaching and assessment in light of three major factors which are increasingly influencing policy and practice in the 21st century:
· a globalised economy
· a multilingual world
· the digital era
Call for Abstracts open – deadline 15 October 2016
The ALTE 6th International Conference will be one of the most inclusive events ALTE has hosted, actively welcoming contributions from all members in the language education community. With a wider range of presentation formats, the conference offers unrivalled opportunities for speakers from different professions, disciplines and backgrounds.
