Survey on Civic Space in Europe
Civil Society Europe and Civicus, the World Alliance for Citizen’s participation are launching a survey open to associations and leading activists in the European Union, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Switzerland, and the candidate countries to the EU Accession: Albania, the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and Turkey.
The purpose of the survey is to map out key trends on civic space in Europe. Given recent developments, the survey will allow us to assess how operating conditions for civil society have changed in Europe over the past 12 months, what are the emerging trends and challenges that civil society organisations have to face, as well as the possibility to develop common responses. The survey deals with civic space, civil society collaboration and support, obstacles and challenges facing civil society at national level and broader political trends in Europe.
In order to ensure the broadest possible range of views, we would like to invite you to disseminate the survey widely within your network. The findings will be made freely available for your information and use. All responses will be confidential, will not be shared with third parties and will be analysed as a collective dataset.
The survey includes 30 questions and should not take more than 15 minutes.

Informationen von dem IDV über die FIPLV-Tagung der NBR in Tallinn Juni 2016

Liebe Kolleginnen und Kollegen,

ich freue mich, Ihnen/euch mitteilen zu können, dass der IDV mit der Organisation und Leitung der deutschsprachigen Sektion auf der FIPLV-Tagung der Nordisch-Baltischen Region (NBR) 2016 in Tallinn betraut wurde. Bedeutendes sprachpolitisches Ziel ist es, die Position der deutschen Sprache auf den Weltkonferenzen des FIPLV (Fédération Internationale des Professeurs de Langues Vivantes), dem der IDV als Mitglied angehört, zu stärken und zu konsolidieren. Nach der erfolgreichen Teilnahme des IDV und seiner zahlreichen Mitglieder an dem FIPLV-Weltkongress 2015 in Niagara Falls/Kanada wollen wir nun in Tallinn/Estland eine deutschsprachige Sektion durchführen, die Referentinnen und Referenten aus den IDV-Mitgliedsverbänden versammeln und dabei ein Diskussionsforum bilden kann. Ich würde mich sehr freuen, einige von Ihnen/euch in der deutschsprachigen Sektion begrüßen zu dürfen, die ich persönlich – zusammen mit einem Kollegen/einer Kollegin – leiten werde.

Ausrichter der diesjährigen NBR-Tagung vom 9. bis zum 11. Juni ist der Estnische Dachverband der Fremdsprachenlehrer/innen EVÕL. Von EVÕL haben wir ebenfalls die erfreuliche Nachricht erhalten, dass die Frist zur Einreichung von Beiträgen für die deutschsprachige Sektion auf den 29. Februar verlängert wurde.

Die Beiträge in deutscher Sprache können via Formular auf der Webseite der Tagung eingereicht werden. Alternativ kann das an diese E-Mail angehängte Formular ausgefüllt und an mich (carvalho@idvnetz.org) zugesandt werden. Sollten Schwierigkeiten bzw. Fragen beim Ausfüllen des Formulars auftauchen, können Sie sich / könnt ich euch – wie immer – jederzeit an mich wenden. Alle Felder im Formular können auf Deutsch ausgefüllt werden.

Die XVI. IDT findet von Montag, den 31.07. bis Freitag, den 04.08.2017 in Freiburg i.Ü. in der Schweiz unter dem Motto: BRÜCKEN GESTALTEN – MIT DEUTSCH VERBINDEN: Menschen – Lebenswelten – Kulturen statt.

Die zweisprachige Stadt Freiburg im Üechtland als KulturBrückenStadt zwischen Deutsch und Französisch mit ihrer zweisprachigen Universität, dem Studienbereich Mehrsprachigkeitsforschung und Fremdsprachendidaktik sowie dem Institut für Mehrsprachigkeit ist ein idealer Ort, um die Vermittlung der deutschen Sprache und Kultur zum Thema und Brücken sichtbar zu machen, denn Deutsch verbindet: als Erstsprache, als Zweitsprache, als Fremdsprache, als plurizentrische Sprache – sei es in Bildung oder Beruf, im Öffentlichen oder im Privaten.

Die Tagung wendet sich an Expertinnen und Experten, Lehrende, Forschende und Studierende, Verbandsvertreterinnen und –vertreter aus der ganzen Welt sowie an Entscheidungsträger vornehmlich aus den deutschsprachigen Ländern. Sie schafft ein Forum für Begegnung, fachlichen Austausch, Vernetzung und Weiterbildung.

Ziel der Tagung ist, über den aktuellen Stand von Forschung und Entwicklung im Fach Deutsch als Fremdsprache und Deutsch als Zweitsprache zu informieren, die Zusammenarbeit weltweit, zwischen den deutschsprachigen Ländern und innerhalb der Schweiz zu fördern und bildungspolitische Akzente zu setzen.
