Dear FIPLV members, partners and friends,

As the year is coming to an end, let us look back at 2022 and forward to 2023!

After two challenging pandemic years, the FIPLV World Congress was successfully held in Warsaw in June 2022. We were delighted to meet a large number of colleagues from all around the world and to officially confirm the newly elected FIPLV board members as the new Executive Committee. During our first online meetings we were able to plan the first actions for this year, among which the relaunch of the newsletters and the FIPLV International Award. The announcement of the next FIPLV World Congress 2024 in New Zealand was another highlight in this year.

In 2023 we look forward to seeing you at the FIPLV NBR Conference in Reykjavík in June, the statutes will be updated and a new FIPLV Strategic Plan developed with new activities. Collaborations with the European Centre for Modern Languages of the Council of Europe and with the Professional Network Forum partners will also be continued.
